Understanding What is on the Clipboards
Currently, there are over a dozen ballot initiatives in Michigan.
We are thrilled to offer this broad overview three times on the same day at three locations -
Choose to join us at the Farm Lane MSU Federal Credit Union for lunch, at the Edgewood Church of Christ late afternoon or the Eaton Pub in Charlotte for supper.
Join Michigan Country and Jews for Secular Democracy for Understanding What is on the Clipboards - Know Before You Sign. As we head out to fall events, you are likely to see an increasing number of signature collectors.
Nomi Joyrich, Michigan Director at Jews for Secular Democracy will provide an overview of the Michigan ballot initiatives.
While Michigan is fortunate to be one of nineteen states that allow direct citizen initiatives, it is important to understand these before you decide to sign.
Understanding What is on the Clipboards will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 - all sessions will have time for questions at the end.
1) at the MSU Federal Credit Union Credit Union on Farm Lane with lunch at noon and the presentation at 12:30.
2) at Edgewood United Church in East Lansing with snacks provided and the presentation at 3:30.
3) at the Eaton Pub in Charlotte, Michigan. A light supper will be served at 5:30. The presentation will begin at 6:00.
Registering helps us plan.
This program is a part of Michigan Country's Eaton County Outreach Program launched in 2025. We previously hosted a Food & Care Drive at Evelyn Bay Coffee Co and a complimentary lunch and chat at the Library.
We are thrilled to also be able to offer this in East Lansing!
